We love London brides and we love winter weddings. And when you combine those elements with superb photography, that’s when we rush to our computers and get a-blogging!
Polly’s David Fielden dress was turned around in just – wait for it - 3 weeks! Polly was absolutely floored that she got such personal attention from the bridal house and recommends them wholeheartedly to all current brides. (I think we can see why – what a fabulously slinky dress!)
Polly & Jack wanted a very intimate celebration. “Walking in and seeing Jack for the first time was a really special moment but mostly we loved how intimate the ceremony was because everyone who was there played such an important part in the day.”
We love how Polly & Jack took plenty of time to get gorgeous portraits of themselves done with their photographer, Marianne Taylor, whom the bride especially wished to say she could’t recommend more highly.
It is also such a pleasure to showcase the gorgeous digs at the San Pancras Hotel – we love the combination of new & modern with the station’s old fixtures.
We love it when brides send us advice that they wish to impart to current brides! Polly’s words of wisdom are to “try not to get caught up in all the planning and focus on what’s really important to you. I thought friends and family would be offended that we opted for a small ceremony but people are much more supportive and understanding than you imagine and just want you to be happy. That, and don’t put your stilettos on on wooden floorboards as I had a small ‘shoe-stuck-in-floorboard-crack-almost-ripping-hole-in-dress’ incident just before I left the house! ”
