A MANOIR WEDDING IN ENGLAND: ELLIE & NATHAN

We are so delighted to start this brand new week off with some gorgeous film photography and a wedding from one of the prettiest venues in the English countryside, Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons, a venue and restaurant that boasts 2 Michelin stars.

Ellie & Nathan decided to have their wedding split over two days.  The first day was their wedding ceremony in front of a small intimate group of friends and family.

Now this is what we call intimate: Ellie & Nathan got married in Le Manoir Aux Quat Saison’s “L’Orangerie” garden suites surrounded by only 8 of their closest friends and family. Following their ceremony, Ellie & Nathan joined their guests for canapes and drinks in the gardens.

Ellie’s favorite part of the wedding day was “enjoying a bottle of champagne with my new husband at the end of a long, eventful and emotional day and reflecting on how great it all was!”

We love Nathan’s choice of a modern grey suit and how his graphic tie matched the colors of Ellie’s bouquet.

How beautiful is Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons in the evening light?

The day after their wedding ceremony, Ellie & Nathan got right back into their wedding day finest and invited a bigger party of guests to celebrate with them at an evening reception at The Great Barn in Oxfordshire, where everyone enjoyed a sumptuous meal and wedding cupcakes.

And for all you current brides-to-be out there, here is some sage advice from Ellie: “Enjoy all the wedding planning and preparations – it’s all worth it when you see it all unfold just as you imagined!”

We love how Ellie & Nathan chose to have two separate celebrations and stuck to their vision of having a small intimate ceremony. Big congratulations to them and of course huge thanks to the talented Kate at Depict Photography for sending this lovely English wedding our way!

We’re curious how many of you have had a separate day for your reception and wedding breakfast (aka wedding banquet) or plan to?
