This weekend is… {DRUM ROLL}… A BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND! Whooooop! We hope all of you have something super special planned, whether it be a weekend getaway to a sunny locale or, like us, hanging out with family. It is absolutely stupefying that it is already May (where has the year gone already!?) and with the months flying by, we are so feeling the need for a well-deserved long weekend… To get into that serene spirit, let’s start with some Reverie Kinds of Wonderful…

This Sunday, can we please be invited to Sunday Suppers?! Their new studio in the BK is so beautiful.

Not only refreshing, but how gorgeous if fruit flavored water were presented this way at summer wedding receptions!

On the brunch menu: pesto potato egg bake. Yum.

Mary has a photo mousepad of her dog Sammy. These chic mousepads are pretty darn cute too (but not as cute. obviously.)

Below, how much do we love the kimono-esque top skirt and train? – SO MUCH. We also love how this dress lets you show off your shoes.

Below, some of these slinkier numbers still have that lovely Amsale silhouette to them but with just that extra bit of embellishment. The halter neck dress on the left reminds us a little of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy.

Below, prime example of chic clean lines that define Amsale and that extra oomph with the tulle halter overlay. Divine. (Incidentally, we are really digging the deep side-parted side chignon on the models too).

I’m sorry, but this combination below just kills it. I love the slight raise in the front of the dress and that very simple silhouette, combined with that gorgeous tulle capelet with rose details. Divine.

We chatted about her options, and once I’d pointed out that a wedding dress only becomes a wedding dress once you actually wear it TO YOUR WEDDING, her eyes lit up and she realised that she could take a non-wedding dress and make it her wedding dress.

I’ve had friends marry in all sorts of non-wedding dresses –  pale blue ‘off the rack’ Temperley, a vintage Valentino skirt suit, a chiffon Albertta Feretti number – and all of them looked absolutely beautiful, and most importantly, all of them looked like themselves.

Liz & Rob were married in gorgeous Seattle, Washington and their wedding was all about sophisticated, contemporary glamour. Let’s start by drooling over the details of her Monique Lhuillier gown…

Don’t you just love the golden tones in the dress paired with a simple gold clutch and metallic leather strappy sandals with red and orange accents? This right here is a hot color palette!

We are loving Liz’s choice to have her flower girls in dove grey, versus traditional white.

If you’re having an indoor ceremony, definitely follow Liz & Rob’s lead and find a venue with large windows and a gorgeous panoramic view of the city beneath your feet.

How beautiful is Liz’s luscious orchid bouquet?!

With the help of their wedding planner and designer, Steven Moore, Liz & Rob went for a contemporary chic design for their wedding, mixing in the simple and elegant orchids (from Liz’s bouquet) with fiery red and orange roses on a clean and simple grey and white setting.

God, we love Philippe Starck Ghost chairs!

In addition to the award-winning catering from their venue, Canlis Restaurant (which is seriously making us hungry!), Liz & Rob served a dessert table full of bite-sized dessert canapes. I think I spy a decadent rich chocolate mousse cake with pistachio sponge…!

What an insanely beautiful wedding full of details that we are sure will inspire all of you who are currently planning an indoor glam wedding!
